Corporate Plan 2012 - 2015
We are delighted to introduce our Corporate Plan for 2012 - 2015
Our Corporate Plan embodies two things; the philanthropy of the original housing pioneer, Octavia Hill. And a new mind-set and a new way of working for CIH.
In 1864, Octavia Hill had an aim – to make ‘lives noble, homes happy and family life good’.
We believe that this has never been more important. Huge changes are happening in welfare and housing policy and it is vital that we get housing right for our communities and for the country.
Today, we might say it slightly differently from Octavia Hill and the things we need to do to help our tenants are different, but our passion to see that everyone has a decent, affordable home in a thriving, safe community is unchanged. And the foundation of CIH remains the same too - to provide the best advice, support and knowledge to housing professionals and housing organisations.
We are incredibly excited to bring you this plan, which sets out our commitments and priorities for achieving organisational excellence, growth and development. It sets the direction for the organisation for the next three years. It is the framework against which we plan the delivery of the business and the range of products and service to members and to the wider sector. It is designed to be practical and realistic; guiding the priorities of our work and directing our decisions and choices for the next three years.
