The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) is the professional body for people who work in housing. The CIH is a registered charity and a non-profit making organisation. We have over 22,000 members who work predominantly in local authorities, housing associations, arms length management organisations (ALMOs) and the private sector in the UK and Overseas.

GOVERNANCE REVIEW

CIH's Governance Review continues to make progress and Paddy Gray, Vice President and chair of the Review Group, extends his thanks to everyone who contributed to the member survey which was undertaken recently. The survey results, together with other work that is ongoing at the moment, will inform discussion at the next meeting of Council in November when all of the research data will be reviewed and some ideas for the way ahead will be given initial consideration.
