Advising on a career in housing

It is known in the housing industry that if you ask people how they came into housing many will say it was by accident and that they hadn’t gone into their careers advisor at the age of 14 saying that they wanted to work in the housing industry.

However, working in the housing industry provides a vast range of job opportunities and as the work of housing organisations diversifies so does the range of roles available.

We work closely with careers advisors and a number of professional bodies representing those working in the housing industry to help raise the profile of working in the housing industry as a career of choice. Here you will find a range of tools designed to provide advisors with a bank of resources to support your knowledge of the opportunities in the housing industry, links to useful websites, routes into the industry and housing qualifications and courses.
