YOUR LOCATION

The CIH has 9 Branch committees in England and National Business Units in Cymru, Northern Ireland and Scotland. It also has a branch in the Asian Pacific. Each committee is drawn from and serves the local membership base.

THE WORK OF CIH BRANCHES AND NATIONAL BUSINESS UNITS

Each Branch or Committee appoints Officers who undertake various activities including:

  • regional and national policy consultations
  • organising seminars and events
  • promoting the work of the Branch
  • lobbying local MPs
  • promoting membership of the CIH
  • promoting careers in housing
  • establishing links with local universities and colleges

For members, getting involved in Branch activities is an excellent way to find out more about national and regional policy issues, to network with key housing professionals in the region and access the wealth of knowledge and information that is available.
