Frontline Futures is a radical programme delivering real change and ensuring a bright future for frontline housing roles in Wales.
Based on CIH's landmark 2014 report, 'Frontline Futures: new era, changing role for housing officers', the programme has been developed specifically to equip frontline housing staff with the behavioural competencies required to deliver first class housing services, now and in the future. As well as supporting learners to develop those skills, the programme has a particular emphasis on embedding and applying the learning in the workplace. The work undertaken during the programme is practical and tangible; learners identify, plan and develop a change project for their workplace.

Frontline Futures isn't like any other change programme. The programme stresses the importance for a wide variety of approaches to deliver real change. Support sessions happen pre- and post-course, learning includes face-to-face teaching days, coaching and action learning sets, and crucially frontline staff are supported by managers throughout the programme (we recommend that each organisation sends one manager and two frontline staff to ensure buy-in and understanding).
