Housing Futures Cymru aims to get young frontline housing professionals directly involved in the decision making process in Wales by creating a young professionals policy advisory board. It will consist of a board of 11 members, including Wales' representative on CIH's UK Future Housing Professionals Advisory Panel. They will meet four times a year to formulate policy positions aimed at directly influencing the Welsh policy-makers in Cardiff Bay and at Westminster. Part of that process will involce engaging directly with key sector leaders and commentators to formulate evidence-based outcomes.
You have until 2 June 2017 to apply to be part of this exciting intiative. As well as helping to define the future of the sector, being on the Housing Futures Cymru panel is an amazing opportunity for your personal development. We want younger professionals with big ideas, who can bring experience from the coal face to bear in developing the direction of policy thinking and the future of the profession in Wales.
