Booking Code: 2519890
The theme of this year's conference is where are we now and where to next? The programme will look at new opportunities and new challenges facing delegates and how to deliver high quality services to increasing numbers of older people with increasingly different needs and aspirations.
We will aim to provide a progress update on the outcomes of the Ministerial Review due in January 2010 as well as an update on developments throughout the sector.
Through a number of interactive morning and afternoon workshops, we will explore the personalisation agenda, assistive technology and social infrastructure.
Workshop topics include: Changing services from a legal and practitioners perspective, consultation/engagement - how can the customer call the shots?, person centred service delivery we will look at putting the customer at the heart of services and social inclusion or exclusion? from a rural and urban perspective.
