About the Conference

The CIH Yorkshire & Humberside Experience is an annual regional housing event, attracting housing professionals from across the region and beyond. This year's Conference & Exhibition is set to be the biggest and best yet, with the highest number of delegates ever. It is the essential event dedicated to housing professionals in the region.

As well as disseminating up to the minute research, information on new policies, practical advice and case studies, this event will also provide your organisation and delegates with the opportunity to share knowledge and experience, network and relax.

For this year's conference we invite you to take advantage of our new 'chill out area', have scheduled in longer breaks for networking and exhibition viewing.

Giving you the tools to make a difference

This year's conference aims to give delegates a toolkit of information to take away and use in the workplace. The workshops planned for the conference cover a multitude of topics and aim to tell delegates how to do things in different areas.

Who should attend?

This conference has been organised to examine housing issues within the Yorkshire & Humberside Region and is aimed at housing professionals involved in the areas of policy, strategy, planning and finance and for anyone who has a keen interest in housing within the region.

The Venue

York Racecourse, York

York Racecourse is set in 100 acres of grounds and is located within easy access of the A19, A59 and A1(M).

York is one of the Premier tracks in Europe having recently won the Northern Racecourse of the Year Award (17 years running!) and also came out top in The Times Newspaper survey of all Britain's racecourses.

York traces a fascinating history back to Roman and Viking times. Today it is a bustling city growing as a commercial, tourist and regional centre. A fine range of restaurants, shopping opportunities and attractions including the Jorvik Viking Centre and National Railway Museum as well as the history of the Minster, Castle and City Walls, supplements York's extensive selection of excellent hotel accommodation.
