Repairs and Maintenance Conference

18 - 19 May 2016, Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport

About the event

This industry leading event has been designed to deliver all the very latest insight, practical and strategic advice to repairs and maintenance professionals. The programme is packed with sessions covering the latest hot topics and industry initiatives, and alongside keynote sessions and informative case studies led by industry experts, we will this year be opening the floor up to delegates, allowing you to share your best practice and raise your concerns.

We will kick start the day by asking “how is your organisation responding to the new challenging operating environment?”, where Wayne Gethins, Wrekin Housing Trust, Gary Lester, Morgan Sindall and Steve Hale, Nottingham City Homes will be sharing how they have reviewed and adjusted their asset management and maintenance services post rent cuts in three case studies and inviting delegates to put their questions to the panel and offer up topics for discussion.

Jeremy Kape, Affinity Sutton, will be exploring how the chase to become decent home compliant affects our behaviour, and asking if we are providing the right services at the right times, or if we are simply ticking boxes?

With master class sessions covering gas servicing, procurement, void reduction and linking repairs and asset management to neighbourhoods, we will be offering up practical advice for you to take back to your organisation.

In our “ask the operative” session we will be inviting a team of operatives to lead round table discussions and answer your questions on what works, where and why?

Led by practitioners, for practitioners, our aim is for you to return to your organisation re-invigorated and inspired to put into practice many of the ideas and initiatives you’ve heard about. Book your place today to make sure your repairs, maintenance and investment spend delivers more for your customers, your property assets and your organisation.
