The future of social care - Who delivers? Who pays?

12 July 2012, York College, York

About the event

The current government's white paper on social care is due later this year.  The white paper will set out government proposals on how we support older people, disabled people and carers in the future.  The white paper is an opportunity to put housing at the centre of a sustainable care system.  The challenges of funding and growing numbers of those requiring support will necessitate new and innovative approaches.  This timely event will provide attendees with an overview of the government proposals along with an assessment of the challenges and opportunities from a range of social care professionals from the region.
