Successful Governance & Boards

26 July 2012, CIH London Office

About the event

The Social Housing Regulator’s message is clear - strong management boards are vital if Registered Providers are to adapt to a changing operating environment and successfully meet future challenges.

Now that regulatory changes have taken effect, this timely event will provide an insightful overview of the changes, and more importantly debate future challenges facing governance for social housing providers in England, and how best to overcome them to achieve excellence for your organisation. A range of high-profile speakers will be on hand to discuss new economic regulation, focussing on governance, viability and value for money.

There will be good practice examples from Orbit Group who will share success on how their governing body has improved its own performance, and an inspiring session from a Housing Heroes Awards finalist. The Board Development Agency will explore value for money strategies taking into account Social Return on Investment and there will also be a session which will help you to ensure your board is equipped to really lead your business.
