CIH Eastern Region Conference 2018

30-31 October 2018 - Hilton City Centre, Cambridge

CIH Eastern Region Conference 2018

A new format, a new venue and a brand new approach to tackling the unique housing challenges in the East of England - our Eastern Region Conference is back in 2018 and it’s bigger and better than ever.

The event gives you the chance to come together with professionals in your region, explore the challenges you face, join the debate on how we move forward and take lessons back with you to your organisation.

There is now an acute housing crisis in many parts of the East of England with dramatic differences in different parts of the region: from high-value areas with housing markets more closely linked to those of London to rural and coastal areas affected by the market for second homes and poor transport connections.

Our 2018 Eastern Region Conference allows you to explore the solutions to this and the many other challenges we face.

Whether you work at a senior level or on the frontline, this is a chance to take time away from your day job, gain a sense of the bigger picture, make crucial contacts and come back with lessons that you can implement from day one.

The format

This year we have a brand new format to make the event more engaging and interactive than ever.

Day one will explore the big picture and set the scene on crucial issues in the region, including everything from affordability and homelessness to universal credit and placing tenants at the heart of housing organisations.

Then on day two we move to a festival-style event packed full of interactive and engaging sessions helping you to develop your skills and knowledge in key areas of housing management.

Conference dinner

Our conference dinner is an excellent opportunity to meet with fellow housing professionals and network in a relaxed atmosphere. Taking place at the Hilton City Centre, Cambridge, the evening will get under way with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner.

Tables of ten are available to book at a cost of £700+VAT  , or individual tickets at £ 70+VAT.

Sponsorship

We are pleased to welcome back Colne Housing as headline sponsor for the second year running. Colne is a vibrant housing association which works in partnership with others to be part of the solution to the housing crisis. What a great opportunity for you to get to know Colne and discuss how working together could help us meet housing demand in the region.

Our sponsorship packages are designed to showcase your organisation’s work to hundreds of housing professionals specifically working in the Eastern region.
