What is the conference all about

Please note - Day one 10 May is now SOLD OUT. We do still have spaces available for the second day of the conference.

2017 will be an exciting year for the CIH South West conference, with a new venue and reinvigorated programme. This year’s event will take place in the Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel – an excellent venue which will allow for the conference and exhibition to take place in one area, offering additional networking prospects and easier access to all of the conference sessions.

The annual conference is the largest of its kind in the region, attracting over 300 attendees from across the South West and beyond. The two-day event is the essential forum for the sector to engage in discussions with experts on their latest thoughts on the sector, the context we are working in and how to tackle the challenges ahead.

This year’s conference will feature many opportunities to learn and network, with a consultants’ corner, bite-size skills sessions and a drinks reception, plus a content-rich programme of high profile speakers tackling the key issues impacting the South West.

Join the conference and learn from leading experts, engage in debates and discuss the latest topics, including:

• How to increase housing delivery

• Integrating services with health and social care for older people

• New methods of responding to government policy

• The importance of having a strong commercial focus

• What the spring budget will mean for providers
