Think Tank: Domestic abuse and housing - what does good practice look like?
About the event
Over the last year, through our Make a Stand campaign, CIH has been campaigning for the housing sector to do more to help victims of domestic abuse. We are delighted with the response from the sector but it is clear that landlords want further guidance so they can better support victims.
To help you learn more about how your organisation can support victims of domestic abuse and develop your own domestic abuse policy, we are hosting this free member event at the Lochgelly centre in Fife.
Come along and hear from Dundee Womens Aid about their experience of supporting women who have left their home to escape domestic violence and how social landlords have changed their approach to rehousing victims of domestic abuse.
Speakers include Paul Short, Fife Council and Mary Miller, Dundee Women’s Aid and the event will be chaired by Callum Chomczuk from CIH Scotland.
