Building rapport with staff and getting to know your team is an effective way of building relationships and achieving results quickly, however a leader’s role isn’t to be everyone’s best friend, but to lead in a way that inspires trust and confidence.
This session looks at how we can build rapport whilst in a leadership position both internally and externally. Building rapport with your colleagues and partners is part of your ongoing leadership journey, and we will address key themes to support you to further flourish within your current role and prepare you for leadership challenges in the future.
CEO of The Better Health Generation UK, Natalie Keating will discuss her experiences of building rapport from a career that has spanned more than 22 years in the Health, Education, Employability and Skills sectors.
Natalie has held several executive leadership roles with responsibilities, including operational and contract management, business growth, compliance assurance and procurement, finance, and quality assurance. Natalie currently sits on the Merlin Advisory Board, is a member of the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) and a fellow member of the Institute of Employability Professionals (IEP), alongside being a qualified lecturer holding management and CIPD registration.
