The new regulatory environment
About the event
With the new regulatory reforms now in place is your organisation up to standard? With a greater focus on economic standards organisations need to ensure value for money across the organisation and a focus on how their assets are used. The HCA now has a reduced role in relation to consumer standards and no role in monitoring how providers are performing against these standards.
The event will analyse the importance of governing boards in taking over this role and demonstrate how organisations can ensure their boards have the right tools to effectively monitor the performance of the organisation. Within the regulatory framework there is an expectation that alongside good governance tenants will play an enhanced role in monitoring, assessing and scrutinising the quality of services. Discover what mechanisms one organisation already has in place and how similar mechanisms can be used in your organisation. When services do fail learn how encouraging complaints can help drive improvement within your organisation.
In the absence of proactive monitoring of services by the regulator providers will need their own data on their tenants needs and priorities. Speakers will examine how those participating in governance and tenant scrutiny can use the data to make informed judgements about the organisations performance.
This event will bring delegates up to date with the reforms and ensure they are aware of what changes need to take place. Expert speakers will share how their organisations are already complying with the regulations, offering best practice examples for delegates to take back to their own organisation. Discover how to take an organisation wide approach to offering an efficient and customer focussed service through economic and consumer performance assessment.
