The Chartered Institute of Housing is the independent voice for housing and the home of professional standards

TAI 2020

22 - 23 September 2020, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff

    Book your place today

Homelessness, social housing waiting lists and the welfare system all combine to leave too many people without a suitable safe and secure place to call home. We need more social and affordable homes to meet everyone’s housing needs, but how can we bring balance back to the housing ecosystem? TAI 2020 takes a look at how as a sector we can restore the balance between different housing tenures, ensuring that regardless of what people’s aspirations may be, everyone can find themselves in a high quality, affordable home, connected to their communities and the services that matter most to them.

You’ll find sessions covering housing practice - from the latest in cutting-edge housing development to growing the voice of tenants at the centre of the sector’s work. This year’s conference falls at a critical time - a year on from the Welsh Government’s independent affordable housing review report launch, and year before the Welsh Assembly elections in 2021. This makes TAI 2020 a crucial opportunity for all housing professionals to bring together their expertise, insight and passion to shape how we collectively bring balance back to housing in Wales.

Why attend

TAI will bring you expert keynotes, top level debate, hands-on knowledge and innovation and will focus on the big issues in the sector today.  This event will provide something that suits everyone, whether strategic, operational or inspirational.
