This webinar will give CIH members an opportunity to shape the government’s approach to end loneliness, with a member of the government’s team developing the national strategy.
The impact of loneliness on people’s health and wellbeing can be very significant and damaging; it can be a bad for our health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. The government is committed to developing a national strategy and programme to tackle loneliness. It has announced funding of £20million to support charities and groups that are working to help people who are isolated and experiencing loneliness.
This is your opportunity to find out more and have your say on what housing organisations are doing already, and what the strategy needs to do to support more great schemes and activities that work.
