Year of practice live - embedding equality and diversity

14 June 2012, 10.15 - 11.00, Manchester
year of practice live

About the event

This is your opportunity to pose your questions to CIH equality and diversity expert John Thornhill.

Equality and diversity lies at the heart of how you provide high quality, relevant and inclusive services to your customers. CIH are developing an equality and diversity charter which sets out some of the core principles required to deliver great outcomes.

This session will demonstrate what it takes to embed equality and diversity through everything you do, based on the commitments set out in our charter. It will help you assess your current practices and get some tips on how to get even better.

Benefits of attending

Areas of discussion are likely to include:
  • Do you know who your customers are?
  • Do you use this information to develop more equal and diverse services?
  • Can you demonstrate that the services you provide take account of the 9 protected characteristics?

Booking information

This session is part of CIH's annual conference and exhibition and is free to attend for all conference or exhibition delegates. Places are limited so please book for this event in advance.
