First to Know social housing allocations review
About the event
CIH member in Northern Ireland? Be the First to Know
CIH is committed to giving members the edge to deliver great services and to drive positive outcomes for housing. As the independent voice for housing we want to create space for housing professionals to come together, with policy makers, to inform and shape housing policy to create a better housing system for everyone.
Throughout 2017 we are running a series of 'First to Know' free member events. The upcoming event will cover the fundamental review of social housing allocations.
Social housing allocations review
The Department for Communities (DfC) has published its proposals for changes to how social homes are allocated. The aim of the changes is to make the allocations process more fair, transparent and effective.
The seminar will take place on Friday 17 November 2017 from 2:00-4:00pm at CIH Northern Ireland, Carnmoney House, Edgewater Road, Belfast, BT3 9JQ.
DfC officials will be present to provide an overview of their plans and to listen to discussions.
