Excellence Award for Campaign of the Year
This award is aimed at private sector organisations, housing associations, local authorities, tenants groups and committees who have delivered a campaign or initiative with the aim of achieving and improving wellbeing in the community in which the organisation operates.
Projects should demonstrate an excellent level of tenant or customer engagement. The campaign or initiative could aim to help tenants manage their money, improve living standards, increase tenant participation or reduce anti-social behaviour in the area for example. Submissions should demonstrate that they can meet some or all of the following criteria:
- The campaign/initiative aims to promote a worthwhile cause;
- The campaign/initiative shows high levels of engagement from the community in which it was run (judges will expect to see evidence of this)
- The campaign/initiative produced tangible results
Who is eligible?
The award is open to all housing organisations, tenants groups and committees in Scotland. To be eligible, campaigns should have been completed no earlier than March 2016.
How to apply
Entrants must complete the on-line submission form.
They should include a maximum of 800 words on the project, which should be structured around the criteria set out above. Other supporting documents such as marketing collateral and analytical reports may also be submitted as appendices to the main document.
This submission will provide the basis for both short-listing and the final decision on the winning entry. Judges will look favourably on entries which address more than the minimum number of criteria.
Be sure to send in your nominations by the closing date: Friday 8 September 2017 at 16:00. Nominations will not be accepted after this date.
The award winner will be announced at the CIH Scotland Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday 27 October 2017 at Murrayfield Hotel, Edinburgh. The winner will receive a commemorative trophy.
