Excellence Award for Campaign of the Year
This award is aimed at housing associations, local authorities, tenants groups and committees who have delivered a marketing campaign or initiative with the aim of achieving and improving wellbeing for tenants and customers, or benefitting the wider communities in which the organisation operates. For example, this could be a campaign or initiative which aims to help tenants manage their money; improve living standards; increase tenant participation or reduce anti-social behaviour in the area. Submissions should demonstrate that they can meet some or all of the following criteria:
• The campaign aims to promote a worthwhile cause
• The campaign’s original goal was achieved and the marketing campaign around this was a significant factor in why it was successful
• The campaign showed high levels of engagement from the community in which it was run. Judges will expect to see evidence of this
Who is eligible?
The award is open to all housing organisations, tenants groups and committees in Scotland. To be eligible, campaigns should have been completed no earlier than June 2015.
How to apply
Entrants must complete the on-line submission form. They should include a maximum of 750 words on the project, which should be structured around the criteria set out above. Other supporting documents such as marketing collateral and analytical reports may also be submitted as appendices to the main document. This submission will provide the basis for both short-listing and the final decision on the winning entry.
The winner will be announced and the award presented at the CIH Scotland Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday 11 November 2016. The winner will receive a trophy and also be put forward as a nominee for the UK Housing Awards.
