Excellence in Environmental Sustainability Award

This award is aimed at programmes or projects which can clearly demonstrate how they have fulfilled one or more of the following criteria:

- Addressed the environmental impact of the existing stock

- Taken action to tackle fuel poverty

Who is eligible?

This award is open to all housing organisations in Scotland, including RSLs, local authority landlords, private landlords, and partnership initiatives. To be eligible, projects should have taken place in Scotland and be able to demonstrate long-term financial sustainability.

How to apply

Entrants must complete the on-line submission form. They must include summary of the project of no more than 2000 words which should be structured around the criteria set out above. Other supporting documents such as key reports, photographs and plans may also be submitted as appendices to the main document. This submission will provide the basis for both short-listing and the final decision on the winning entry.


The award winner will be announced at the CIH Scotland Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday 11 November at the Glasgow City Hotel. The winner will receive a commemorative trophy.
