Lifetime Achievement Award
We’re looking for someone who has lived and breathed housing during their career – a real ambassador for the sector. This special award will honour the outstanding contribution of a CIH member throughout his or her career. The winner of this award will be someone who has demonstrated true professionalism and has made a difference to the communities they have served.
The judges will be looking for examples of some of the following:
- Made a positive difference to the communities they served
- Contributed to the development of professionals in the sector
- Went ‘above and beyond’ to deliver in their role
- Demonstrated a passion for CIH
- Commitment to self-development and education
- Shown professionalism and high standards and looked up to within the sector
Who is eligible?
A lifetime achievement award is about recognising the achievement that someone has made throughout their career.
An applicant may be someone nearing to the end of their successful career or someone that is taking or already taken a step back away from the being a full time housing professional. However the award is for not for length of service but is about the significant contribution an individual has made over this time.
Applications are encouraged from those working at all levels within the sector, where the individual can demonstrate ongoing improvement and outstanding achievement throughout their career in housing.
How to enter & judging
Entrants must complete the on-line application form. This submission will provide the basis for both short-listing and the final decision on the winning entry.
Be sure to send in your application by the closing date: Wednesday 19 September 2018. Nominations will not be accepted after this date.
The winner will be announced and the award presented at the CIH Scotland Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday 2 November 2018 in Edinburgh..
