Housing Team of the Year Excellence Award
This Award is for a team who have delivered an outstanding contribution to their organisation and to the housing sector. It is designed to recognise achievement of something special, as part of developing new services, dealing with difficult situations or delivering the best services. Submissions should be able to demonstrate that they have fulfilled the following criteria:
- Are able to demonstrate that the team being nominated is outstanding
- There has been a particular project or difficult task that they tackled well together
Who is eligible?
The award is open to teams from any housing organisation in Scotland, including local authority, private sector organisations, or registered social landlords, as well as community and tenant organisations. This could be a management team, a front line team or any other recognisable group of people in the organisation. It could also be a whole organisation.
How to enter & judging
Teams must be nominated by their management, board or tenants. Entrants must complete the on-line submission form. They should include a supporting statement with a maximum of 800 words, which should be structured around the criteria set out above. Other supporting documents may also be submitted as appendices to the main document. Evidence can include citations from managers, media mentions or tenant citations. This submission will provide the basis for both short-listing and the final decision on the winning entry.
Be sure to send in your nominations by the closing date: Friday 8 September 2017 at 16:00. Nominations will not be accepted after this date.
The award winner will be announced at the CIH Scotland Excellence Awards Dinner on Friday 27 October 2017 at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh 2017. The winner will receive a commemorative trophy.
