About the role
The Chartered Institute of Housing is the professional body for housing. Our 17,000 members come from across the UK and we work with a diverse range of housing professionals and organisations to equip them with the training, skills and knowledge they need to excel.

This crucial new post will play a key role in driving our organisation forward by leading and managing our marketing and business to business functions (England).
Working with the director of marketing and communications you will devise, implement and lead strategies to drive the sale of our products and services, attract new members and directly support other priorities set out in our business plan.
You will work with a small but committed team of business development managers, leading our work with housing organisations to help build a bespoke package of our products and services to enable them to meet their business objectives and deliver outstanding homes and services. You will manage our existing portfolio of clients and play a vital role in driving new business.
You will also manage the team’s busy marketing function; devising, leading and implementing a strategy to drive sales of our products and services and doing work which ensures we get the right message to the right person at the right time.
You will have a great instinct for marketing and sales and be passionate about implementing successful strategies to drive an organisation forward.
You will either be an expert in one of these disciplines with a solid understanding of how to successful in the other or you will be an experienced professional in both.
You will be confident and dynamic with a creative flair for identifying new business opportunities and marketing opportunities.
