The Chartered Institute of Housing is the independent voice for housing and the home of professional standards

Learning 2 Let training comes to Newry and Mid & East Antrim this October

With all private landlords legally obliged to register their properties and be fully compliant in all areas of their industry, the Chartered Institute of Housing Northern Ireland (CIH), supported by the Department for Communities, brings its Level 2 Learning 2 Let training programme to both Newry, Mourne and Down, as well as Mid & East Antrim, this October.

With over 4500 private registered landlords in Newry, Mourne and Down, and almost 4000 in Mid & East Antrim, Learning 2 Let will help both private landlords and letting agents to remain fully compliant and on the right side of

the law.

Trevor Wright, Learning and Development Officer for L2L said: “since we first started delivering Learning 2 Let over 18 months ago, it has been so successful that we’re now offering it as an online course, as well as in a traditional learning environment, at venues right across Northern Ireland. The positive feedback we have received to date stems from the fact that the course is extremely practical, it gives learners a Level 2 qualification on completion, and - because it’s in receipt of bursary support from the Department for Communities - it costs registered landlords and letting agents just £100 in total”.

Course Dates and Locations

Learning 2 Let starts in Newry on 18th October and in Mid East Antrim (Larne) on the October. Note - as Learning 2 Let is a 3-day Level 2 certified training course, sessions 2 and 3 will take place on November and December.

So, if you are a registered private landlord or letting agent, and are looking to learn more about your obligations under the law, book your place on one of these upcoming courses NOW:
