Meeting housing need events

28/06/2016

Launched by chief executive Terrie Alafat CBE in her keynote address at Housing 2016, this new series of round table events focuses on bringing together housing providers and local government to develop new ideas and solutions to meeting housing need.

Terrie said: "Recent changes in our environment and the Housing and Planning Act have been the cause of some tension between local authorities and the housing association sector. More than ever we must focus now on what we can do together to address our national housing crisis." Read more in Inside Housing

These events provide a unique opportunity to examine how housing associations and local authorities can work together to resolve local challenges and support housing providers to establish and nurture profitable relationships with other organisations in their local area.

We will be hosting round tables in regions across the country.

These events are by invitation only, but if you’re interested in finding out more and/or want to be kept up-to-date with new dates and locations email cat.sanchez-stephenson@cih.org
