Rethinking membership - get involved in our new project
We want to reimagine the way we connect with and support CIH members in their local area - find out how you can take part and have your say.
CIH is here to support housing professionals to create a future in which everyone has a place to call home. And, as a membership body, it’s vital that what we offer reflects what housing professionals want and need from us – now and in the future. That's why we're working with our regional boards across England on our new Rethinking membership project.
Whether you’re a member, former member or have never been member of CIH, this is your chance to tell us what you need and what you think we should do to make it happen.
There are lots of ways to have your say - you have the choice of taking part in our short online survey or running a workshop if you want to get a bigger group of colleagues and contacts involved. You'll find a toolkit including a presentation, workshop leader's notes, results sheet and email invitation template below, giving you everything you need to run a successful workshop (which should take no longer than an hour and a half) and submit the results.
We're also hosting a Twitter debate on Wednesday 13 February from 12.30pm to 1.30pm - just use #CIHRethinkM to take part. You can also book your free place on our webinar taking place on Thursday 28 February 10.30 - 11.00am. Find out more here
The deadline to take part in the survey or host a workshop is 15 March, and we'll use the results to make recommendations to the CIH executive team and governing board.
