Scottish Housing Day 2018
Join us at the parliamentary reception for Scottish Housing Day 2018.
To mark the third annual Scottish Housing Day on September 19, CIH Scotland would like to invite you to the inaugural Housing Day Parliamentary Reception, being held on September 19 between 6pm and 8pm in Committee Room 1 of the Scottish Parliament. The event is being sponsored by Graham Simpson MSP.
Scottish Housing Day aims to celebrate the impact that housing makes to the lives of people and communities across the country, as well as communicating about housing options. With 2018 also the ‘year of young people’, the focus this year is how we meet the housing needs of young people.
The reception will hear from Kevin Stewart MSP, Minister for Local Government and Housing on the importance of housing for young people in Scotland and from a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament about its housing priorities.
Scottish Housing Day is organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland, the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, Homes for Scotland, Shelter Scotland, the Association of Local Authority Chief Housing Officers, the Scottish Association of Landlords, the Tenant Participatory Advisory Service Scotland, Regional Network of Registered Tenants Organisations and the Scottish Government.
Spaces are limited, so please RSVP to Scotland@cih.org by 5 September.
