The CIH Northern Ireland Education Centre

The new term commences in September you can now enroll for the new Level 2 and Level 3 courses.

Level 2 Certificate
This Course will be delivered in 5 days over a period of 2 months. On successful completion of the training you will receive the Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 Certificate in Housing. There are no examinations, all learning outcomes are met through the teaching, delivery and assessment of the course. All participants will be registered as student members and receive all the benefits of membership for the duration of the course.

Level 3 Certificate Supported Housing Pathway
The CIH Level 3 Certificate will be delivered in 14 one-day sessions with a gap of three weeks between sessions, to allow course work to be completed. The course is unique in providing flexibility to students to choose from a range of study pathways according to their interests and skills. To gain the award, all students study three Core Units and six units from the Supported Housing Pathway

Level 3 Certificate Housing Management Pathway
The CIH Level 3 Certificate will be delivered in 14 one-day sessions with a gap of two or three weeks between sessions, to allow course work to be completed. The course is unique in providing flexibility to students to choose from a range of study pathways according to their interests and skills. To gain the award, all students study three Core Units and six units from the Housing Management Pathway

Upgrade to Level 3 Certificate for those who already hold the Warden's Certificate
Following the assessment by the agency that accredits education certificates it was found that the Warden's Certificate was well above a level 2 qualification but short of a full level 3. To assist those who have the Warden's Certificate this course has been created, that when completed, will provide a full level 3 certificate. This ensures a fully accredited level 3 grade that is recognised across the educational spectrum.

Four Day Management Development Programme for Housing Professionals
CIH are providing this programme for middle manager, prospective managers and aspiring manager. In light of the current resource environment, through this programme CIH are seeking to strengthen management skills; assist the management of resources; increase the management base within housing organisations and provide more effective management in these business critical times. This is a generic management development programme that will provide transferable skills that will equip participants for management across the sector.
