CIH Strategic Partnerships

CIH Strategic Partner In 2007 CIH created a new opportunity for UK housing organisations to develop a closer relationship with CIH. We introduced a new service called CIH Strategic Partnerships, which – for the first time - gives housing organisations access to our full range of services. In addition, CIH Strategic Partnerships offer bespoke solutions, using our extensive knowledge and expertise, to support your organisational success. CIH Strategic Partnerships forms part of a growing range of services to support the organisational development of UK housing organisations.

The CIH Strategic Partnership Model

More than ever housing organisations need highly skilled staff and access to practice advice that is underpinned by influential policy thinking. A CIH Strategic Partnership offers your organisation a tailored solution to your learning and skills needs.

With the support of a dedicated CIH Relationship Manager, we work with you to design an annual programme to support your organisational development. A key part of this is working with you to identify the skills and qualifications of your employees, and providing them with a grade of CIH Membership which recognises their achievements. Importantly, we work with you to identify the next stage in their professional development to support your organisational success.

CIH Strategic Partnerships help you to:

Managing the Relationship

CIH Strategic Partnerships are based on a successful partnership between CIH and your organisation. To support the relationship we assign a dedicated CIH Relationship Manager, who understands the challenges faced by housing organisations. They will work with you to build knowledge of your organisation’s aspirations and priorities. Using their in-depth knowledge, they will target CIH knowledge and resources to ensure that you get the best solutions.

Our Strategic Partners

WDH Logo"We are a three star housing association. It is important we continue to deliver our promises, develop people and promote confident communities. This partnership with CIH will move WDH forward to achieving its first milestone of creating neighbourhoods where people went to live."
Kevin Dodd, Chief Executive of Wakefield and District Housing

Broadland HA"This is an exciting initiative. Not only does it give us an opportunity to invest in our staff and help them achieve formal housing qualifications, but it also provides a platform for helping our involved tenants gain the skills that will make a difference in their communities. I am convinced that as this partnership progresses we should see continuous improvements in the quality of the services we provide to people across Norfolk and Suffolk."
Caroline Pickering, Chair of Broadland Housing Association.

"Partnerships between housing providers and the CIH are an obvious way forward. We want a highly skilled team to help us deliver our strategic objectives and operational priorities. I believe that the partnership with the CIH will help us achieve this and will benefit each member of the team by helping them achieve an externally recognised qualification."
Michael Newey, Chief Executive of Broadland Housing Association:
