How to promote good adult safeguarding practice

Description

Adult safeguarding is the process of protecting adults with care and support needs from neglect or abuse. The Care Act 2014 introduced this as a statutory duty for local authorities. Adults who may be at risk live in all forms of social housing - tenants who are older, or disabled, or experience long-term limiting illness, or have current or previous dependencies, may be at increased potential risk of abuse or neglect.
