Description

It’s not uncommon to find that social housing tenants let out their spare bedrooms to lodgers, but changes such as the introduction of the social sector size criteria (or ‘bedroom tax’) and wider economic factors are making this increasingly common. Many landlords are now considering their approach to helping tenants who may be considering taking in a lodger and this briefing sets out what you could do to support this.
