Keeping pace - replacing right to buy sales

Keeping pace - replacing right to buy sales

This research explores the potential for replacing homes sold under right to buy and makes recommendations to government aimed at ensuring that homes sold can be replaced on a one-for-one basis at a local level. It focuses specifically on council owned homes sold during the year 2013/14 and is based on a combination of publically available government statistics and a survey of local authorities. In total 78 local authorities, or 47% of all those who have retained ownership of their housing stock, participated in the research.
