UK Housing Review Briefing 2015

UK Housing Review Briefing 2015

The UK Housing Review briefing is an update to the UK Housing Review 2015, a comprehensive analysis of housing issues and statistics across the UK.

This year’s review and briefing have been written by CIH policy adviser John Perry, Steve Wilcox, former professor of housing policy at the University of York, and Peter Williams, departmental fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research.  They have been sponsored by Affinity Sutton, Crisis, Home Group, HouseMark, L&Q, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Orbit Housing Group, the Scottish Government, Southern Housing Group and the Welsh Government.

As well as the impact of future welfare reform, the briefing examines the effect of existing reforms including the bedroom tax; home ownership; housing affordability; homelessness and much more, including the potential impact of extending right to buy to housing associations.
