Working together to meet housing need

Working together to meet housing need

Do councils and housing associations still need each other? CIH held a series of roundtables to bring stakeholders together to discuss housing need, working practices, ways to resolve difficulties, and to share examples of effective joint working. Over 160 staff, councillors, and board members from local authorities and housing associations attended, and this report presents the ideas and examples shared and summarises participants' views on the value of joint working between councils and housing associations.
