Single Equality Scheme
Our first equality and diversity strategy was published in 2004. Since then, our work in this area has proved successful and has enabled CIH to become more representative of the sector.
Building on our previous successes in the field of equality and diversity, our Single Equality Scheme demonstrates our achievements to date, outlining how we will ensure that the principles of E&D continue to be an integral part of the work we do.
The Scheme sets out the organisation's commitment to equality and diversity and includes a dynamic action plan, outlining achievements and priorities. The Scheme is a way of communicating with members, customers, and other stakeholders about what the organisation is planning to do to drive forward equality and diversity across the housing sector.
