The CIH Repairs and Maintenance Conference & Exhibition is a two day specialist conference for Repairs and Maintenance professionals in the social housing sector.
Attracting over 250 delegates and 40 exhibitors the conference aims to provide delegates with current initiatives, practical knowledge and strategic vision. The programme content is both varied and topical to reflect the diversity of the sector.
This year's programme will examine how the changes to the Equality and Diversity Code of Practice will work will affect organisations, new rules on awarding contracts and making efficiency gains. Workshops will cover a wide range of issues including best practice in asbestos awareness and legislation. The programme will also take a realistic look at the problems that can arise in partnering and share the experiences of successful collaborations.
The conference will build on the success and positive comments received from previous years' events. Attending the event will earn you 8 hours towards your CIH Continuing Professional Development.
