Julie Fadden, Chief Executive, South Liverpool Housing GroupDesigned to enhance the strategic and organisational leadership skills of the participants, the programme features a highly respected faculty who work closely with participants to share academic insights and best practice. Although clearly designed to meet the needs and concerns of leaders in social housing, insights and examples of effective leadership will be drawn from a wide range of sectors and contexts. As the challenges of social housing have evolved, so has the programme. Within a broad, multi-disciplinary curriculum, topics include interpersonal leadership effectiveness, strategic leadership, performance measurement, innovation, change leadership, collaborative relationships, reputation management and many more. Although the programme is designed to support the personal leadership development of the participants, the emphasis is on bringing the learning and insights into practice to benefit the organisations and their stakeholders.

The programme consists of three modules on topics that support leadership effectiveness. Although most participants attend all three modules, depending on availability, it is possible to attend fewer modules if required.The 2013 programme will be held at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel and Country Club. In the heart of the West Midlands near Solihull, the Forest of Arden is the perfect location for business events. This four star hotel is centrally located within easy access of the M6/M42 and M40, and just four miles from Birmingham NEC, Birmingham Airport and the International Train Station.

When making a booking you will be asked if you are paying as an individual or as part of an organisation. If paying as part as an organisation, credit/debit card payments can be taken online at the time of booking or you can select to be invoiced after the online booking. Please note all invoices must be fully paid before the event takes place. If paying as an individual please note a full payment of the total amount by credit/ debit card is required at the time of booking.
The delegate price includes a comprehensive delegate pack, handouts, all refreshments and lunch. You will also earn up to 6 hours towards your CIH Continual Professional Development if you are a CIH Member.
