Pre-tenancy training

Successful management of empty properties is not just about allocating properties quickly.
Whilst this is important it is also important both from the point of view of the tenant and the landlord that those tenancies go on to be successful.

This interactive one day course will look at ways of working with tenants and prospective tenants prior to the commencement of the tenancy to provide the best chance of the tenancy being successful.

Course Content:

  • What is a successful tenancy?
  • Reasons for tenancy failure
  • Assessing the risk for tenancy failure
  • Preparing applicants to be tenants
  • Pre-Tenancy training
  • Carrying out financial assessments
  • Using the sign up effectively

During the course we will look at a range of good practice examples and give delegates the opportunity to review their own policies and procedures.
