This session will explore the importance of a rent arrears strategy and examine good practice in effective arrears management. It will also provide examples of maximising income whilst sustaining tenancies.

Trainer InfoMichael has worked in the social housing sector for more than thirty five years in the UK. He has extensive experience as a manager, director, consultant and trainer in all areas of housing management. He is particularly interested in staff training and development and is an accredited trainer and NVQ assessor who has written and delivered a range of courses on housing management, rent arrears recovery and management, repairs, maintenance and asset management, customer care, and other related subjects. He regularly worsk with the Boards of housing providers, delivering training and Board Member development sessions and facilitating Board away days.
