CIH Level 3 certificate in housing practice
DescriptionThis course will provide you with a greater knowledge and understanding of the key areas in delivering housing services. You will develop communication skills including report writing, team working and customer service skills. Candidates are required to successfully complete six written assessment assignments to gain the Certificate (alternatives to written assessments can be considered where a candidate has specific needs and assessment adjustment may be necessary).

Who should attendThis is the industry standard CIH qualification at Level 3 and is aimed at staff with front-line experience in housing requiring a qualification covering many of the key areas of housing in which front-line staff are involved. The qualification also provides an opportunity for candidates to further develop their knowledge and skills through completing a broad qualification, which also offers a degree of specialism.
Trainer InfoAlan Smith has been teaching in housing since 1992. He is self employed and has worked closely with the CIH delivering the Level 2 Certificates in Housing Practice and Housing Maintenance throughout Scotland. More recently he has also been involved in developing materials and delivering the Level 3 in Housing Practice to a number of groups throughout Scotland on behalf of CIH Scotland learning centre.
