CIH ASIAN PACIFIC | VISIT THEIR WEBSITE
CIH Asian Pacific Branch was established in 1966 and has over 2,000 members. Based in Hong Kong, it has links throughout the region, especially the People's Republic of China. In 2006 CIH validated its first degree course in housing management at Wuhan University in China. CIH Asian Pacific Branch also has training programmes in Macau and is currently working with partners in Taiwan to provide similar training opportunities.
CIH ANNUAL CONFRENCE AND EXHIBITION 2007
The 2007, CIH Annual Conference & Exhibition was held on 19-21 June at Harrogate, UK. The theme this year was "Building Communities, Shaping Lives". The CIH Conference & Exhibition is the leading housing event in the UK, which attracted more than 4,000 delegates, 380 exhibitors and 6,400 exhibition visitors.
The delegates not only learnt about recent developments in Housing in the UK, but also shared best practices and experiences with delegates in other countries.

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
It is with great honor to be elected the Chairman of
the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific branch for 2007.
Last year, the branch celebrated its 40th
Anniversary. The excellent work and contributions of our predecessors have laid a solid foundation for the branch which facilitates further development in promoting the science and art of housing management in the Region. In this aspect, the branch has truly assumed its role as a regional hub when it was re-named the Asian Pacific branch in 2001.
