UNITING A GLOBAL HOUSING COMMUNITY

The International Social Housing Summit (ISH•SUM) is a new conference which will run in the Netherlands on the 13th & 14th October 2010. Bringing together over 300 international social housing practitioners and policy-makers, it will focus on three key areas: financing social housing; sustainable social housing; and the changing demographic.

WHAT TENANTS WANT - GLOBALLY

Do social housing tenants across the world want similar things, and do they have similar opportunities to express what they want? Can the international housing community learn from them?

A new report from CIH looks at six countries which have social housing sectors and suggests that there are some valuable lessons from other countries about how to take account of tenants’ views.
