The North East is one of 9 English regions and has a membership currently approaching 1000 members.
WELCOME TO THE NORTH EAST REGION
An active committee ensures its members benefit from a wide range of free topical seminars throughout the year, designed specifically to empower and assist people in their day to day jobs. Fund raising in aid of the CIH Presidential Appeal also plays an important part of the yearly calendar with the region raising the magnificent sum of £8000 in 2007 as a result of its ever popular Big Quiz Night, Summer Ball and Charity Auction.
The CIH North East Conference held each November is the biggest event of its kind in the region and showcases the exciting regeneration taking place across the North East and the dynamic organisations driving that change. Taking centre stage on the eve of conference is the Future Professionals Dinner. This prestigious event is for CIH students in the region and includes presentations of awards to recognise academic excellence in housing courses.
