With 2012 only two years away, striking the balance between meeting homelessness priorities
whilst continuing to meet wider housing need in ever changing economic circumstances is as tricky
as ever. With little prospect of the new supply desperately needed to meet the needs of those on
the housing lists, local authorities and housing associations are looking at innovative ways of using
their existing stock as well as calling on the private sector to provide long term accommodation.
Our popular annual allocations and homelessness conference brings together those working in
homelessness and housing management to provide a valuable opportunity to reflect on past and
future practice. This conference provides access to a range of expertise from Scotland and beyond
through our exciting programme of speakers and topics.
