How to get your TOTUM membership
If you are a current CIH member or a CIH learner studying for one of our professional qualifications, you can apply for free TOTUM membership.
To apply, you'll need a MyCIH account. Once you're logged in, you'll be able to access the TOTUM application link.
1. Create or log in to your MyCIH account
You must have a MyCIH account to access the TOTUM application link.
If you have never logged in before, follow these steps to create your account.
2. Access the TOTUM application link
Once you have created your MyCIH account, return to this page and select ‘Apply for Totum’.
You’ll be asked to log in to MyCIH if you’re not already signed in. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be taken to a member-only page containing the link to apply for TOTUM.
3. Register for your TOTUM membership
From the member-only page, select the link to the TOTUM registration form. This will take you to the TOTUM website, where you can register for your TOTUM account and complete your application.
Follow the instructions provided by TOTUM to complete your registration. Make sure you use the same email address associated with your CIH membership/MyCIH account, if required by TOTUM for verification.
You can download the TOTUM app for free from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Your card should usually arrive within ten working days from when you place your order. Your card will be sent to your chosen delivery address, and you can check this on the 'track your card' section of your TOTUM profile. If your card hasn't arrived after 14 days, please create a ticket to let TOTUM know here. When submitting your ticket, please reconfirm your address and if any changes need to be made to the original address you selected.
The expiry date is on the front of your TOTUM+ discount card. It will be valid for one, two or three years, depending on the length of time you purchased. You will be contacted before your card is due to expire to remind you of its expiry and invite you to renew. Renewals of your TOTUM+ discount card can be made within 120 days or less of the current expiry date or once your card has expired. You must be a CIH member to renew your card.
As a TOTUM member, it is advisable to have the app installed on your smartphone to take your discounts with you. Plus, you will receive all the hottest offers and discounts straight to your phone by enabling your push notifications.
You can log in to redeem your TOTUM and TOTUM+ discounts via the TOTUM website or on the TOTUM app. Click login and enter the email address and password you registered with. You will need to log in with the same email address you initially registered with.

- Enter the email address you registered with.
- Click on 'Send'
- You will then be sent an email with a link.
- After clicking the link, you will be prompted to set a new password.
