In a sector that’s constantly changing, we know how important it is to focus on making positive changes wherever you can. The next four events are free for CIH members and non-members alike as we recognise the importance of sharing their messages with the whole of the housing sector.
Our webinar 16 Days of Activism: Working Together to Tackle Domestic Abuse in Ireland on 3 December will give participants the space to think about how they can better respond to domestic abuse. With speakers from Women’s Aid, Cill Dara Housing Association, and CIH — you’ll leave the event feeling inspired and prepared to tackle one of the housing sector’s biggest challenges.
Another in the 16 Days of Activism series is the Debt and Access to Social Housing webinar on 10 December, which focusses on helping victims of domestic abuse who are left with housing-related debt. Attending this event will boost your understanding of practical ways to help victims, ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home.
If you’re looking to learn from academics in the housing sector, make sure you join the Small Homes in England: Panacea or Problem? webinar on 14 January. Professor Phil Hubbard and Dr Ruth Nevil will delve into the benefits and fallbacks of the small homes being built across the UK. Are they helping the housing sector, and how can you get involved?
Finally, A Sector in Transformation - CIH Futures Survey Results on 9 December is a webinar you don’t want to miss.
