As housing pressures are rising across the island of Ireland, from Cork and Dublin to Derry and Belfast, the challenges being experienced are similar across the nations.
Whilst the policy may differ from north to south, the issues are similar: affordability issues, planning delays, homelessness, under-supply and the need to deliver more sustainable and good quality homes at pace and scale.
So, where can local professionals hear about all the latest topics and developments whilst also getting a chance to share and collaborate with others in their area? The All-Ireland Summit is a housing conference without borders, working to share and learn with CIH members from across the island of Ireland.
Although each nation has different laws and regulations, the issues are shared; collaborative working can help to generate new ideas and solutions to tackle these pressures and challenges.
At the All-Ireland Summit the two countries have the chance to come together with others experiencing those challenges. As well as the networking opportunities, the event offers the chance to hear from a range of voices with their own stories, experiences and ideas.
With many small organisations on the island of Ireland, by working together we can achieve more than working alone.
