Housing without borders: Working together at events across All-Ireland

As housing pressures are rising across the island of Ireland, from Cork and Dublin to Derry and Belfast, the challenges being experienced are similar across the nations.

Whilst the policy may differ from north to south, the issues are similar: affordability issues, planning delays, homelessness, under-supply and the need to deliver more sustainable and good quality homes at pace and scale.

So, where can local professionals hear about all the latest topics and developments whilst also getting a chance to share and collaborate with others in their area? The All-Ireland Summit is a housing conference without borders, working to share and learn with CIH members from across the island of Ireland.

Why collaboration is crucial across All-Ireland

Although each nation has different laws and regulations, the issues are shared; collaborative working can help to generate new ideas and solutions to tackle these pressures and challenges.

At the All-Ireland Summit the two countries have the chance to come together with others experiencing those challenges. As well as the networking opportunities, the event offers the chance to hear from a range of voices with their own stories, experiences and ideas.

With many small organisations on the island of Ireland, by working together we can achieve more than working alone.

Why should you attend the All-Ireland Summit housing event

Whether you work in policy, housing development, planning, finance, or community delivery – the summit is your opportunity to gain:

  • An All-Ireland perspective – hear insights from across the island all in one room
  • Policy and regulation updates – get the latest updates and insights
  • Networking without borders – meet other CIH members and build connections
  • Fresh thinking on shared challenges – discuss solutions collaboratively for better outcomes.

Most importantly, you can be part of the discussion – housing is one of the defining issues of our time, and tackling it requires shared thinking.

Our events are free to attend for CIH members, so for your annual membership (which is less than the cost of some other conferences) you not only have the All-Ireland event, but you can also attend our webinars, UK wide events, and have access to all member resources!

How can I attend?

First things first, if you aren’t already, join as a CIH member. We have a range of grades and membership levels available with some concessionary rates available. If you’re based in the Republic of Ireland you can find the Ireland membership details here.
