Scotland housing awards - best frontlline housing story

The ‘Best frontline housing story’ award is sponsored by Berwickshire Housing Association.

It is important this year more than ever to recognise the achievements of front line officers and teams who have overcome significant obstacles in their efforts to support individuals and the wider communities in which they serve. There will be people within every housing organisation that have gone above and beyond to support their community during the pandemic; demonstrating personal dedication, an overwhelming positive attitude and an unwavering commitment to support others during times of uncertainty.

In the year that has seen an accelerated use of digital technology and remote contact, a key challenge and focus for housing providers has been to maintain regular conversations with tenants and to work even closer with key partner agencies to ensure tenants are safe and well. Berwickshire Housing Association is proud and privileged to sponsor the category for “Best Frontline Housing Story”. This award celebrates some truly inspirational success stories within our sector during this very difficult year for all.

This year will be different to previous years with a virtual award ceremony, but it remains important that we recognise and celebrate the contribution of the sector.
